The best agent for me would have local knowledge, was easily accessible, communicative, sincere and dedicated. Given that I’m new to mountain living, I wanted an agent who understood the local challenges and subtleties of living up the hill. Joe has had a long history of mountain living, so he was able to answer all of my many questions. Due to the nature of my work, I was mainly available in the late evenings and Joe always made it a point to respond promptly no matter how late it was. From our first conversation we had until the close of escrow, Joe would make sure that the communication lines were open and very clear. I also needed an agent who was sincere and truly had my best interest at heart. I never felt pressured or swayed with Joe. He would present the different choices and we would literally write down the pros and cons to guide our decisions. Lastly, Joe worked tirelessly and went above and beyond through the entire process, especially when we ran into a couple of hiccups during the final stages of escrow. Hello, Joe, I just want to thank you so much for having sold my house in such a timely and professional manner. As you know, I needed to sale my house rather quickly and there were some challenging aspects of my property in regards to verifying ownership of its three combined parcels that could have very easily stymied the sale of my house for some time, but you were able to resolve them to the satisfaction of all parties in short order. Without your efforts I believe there is a good chance that my house never would have sold at all, and I feel quite certain that, had I contracted any other agent to resolve these issues and sell my house than yourself, my house would still be on the market. I truly appreciate all the efforts you went through to bring things to a successful conclusion--and I know they were considerable! You really went the extra mile! More than this, I greatly appreciate how well you kept me informed of all the steps you were taking, the market strategy you were using, and all the other “detailed” things you were doing to sell my house as quickly as possible at the price I desired.
