We've moved around a lot, which has led us to buy and sell several homes over the years in different states. In such a seller's market, we didn't think we needed much help from a realtor and considered trying a no-frills online service. We met the Kristin Halton Group while at an open house and decided to let them give us their opinion on selling our home. Whatever we were going to purchase was going to be contingent upon selling our home. After meeting with this team, we immediately decided to place our trust in them. We found a house that we absolutely loved and asked Kristin Halton to help negotiate the purchase. It was a complicated purchase. She was absolutely critical in pulling the deal together for us. She then went to work on our main concern of selling our home. We needed to get a price for our home that would help us purchase the new home, or the deal wouldn't happen. This isn't someone who is selling real estate as a hobby or a weekend job. She's been in the business a long time. This is the most professional group we have ever worked with. They came in and told us what we needed to do to get the highest price we could, gave us a list of vendor/contractors to do it with, had a project manager that kept us on track, and took a hands-on approach to helping us. We had a tight budget and only wanted to do the bare minimum needed to get to our goal. Our house sold quickly and at the price we needed. Our transaction was not easy and had some hair-raising issues along the way. We wanted a realtor that could handle a hiccup or two and Kristin and her group were perfect. Kristin Halton and her team are fantastic! We had 3 realtors come by and reviewing their presentations but ultimately we used The Kristin Halton Group to sell our house. Kristin showed up and gave a presentation about what she could offer and bring to the table. We discussed our expectations and what we were looking to accomplish. Kristin was professional and we felt confident talking to her that she was vested in selling our home, and that she wasn't just saying she could perform to get the listing. She was very interested in all the upgrades we had done to the house and leveraged her connections and marketing team to best showcase our house as the best in the neighborhood, which it was! It was important that our home was being sold as if it was hers as we put a lot of hard work into it over the years and felt we didn't cut corners and we wanted to make sure that came out in the listing and during showings. We had 6 or 7 offers in the first few days after they started showing it, and all offers were above asking price and went into escrow within a week after that! If I had another home to sell I would go back to The Kristin Halton Group in a heartbeat! In addition, Gina was masterful in her handling of the day to day contact with the other agent and the buyers of our home. She was on top of her game and I honestly don't know if we would have survived this process without her. She was very responsive and knowledgeable which was very important as we navigated through all the difficult aspects of selling a home (one would think its easy but it is not!). Also we wanted to provide a shoutout to Caitlin on her team who was not only involved in the impressive marketing, but she also made herself available for showings! All hands were on deck to sell our home and it's fantastic to see. Couldn't be happier with our outcome and all that Kristin and her team (including Gina and Caitlin) put into selling our home.
