This guy's the real deal. The Beverly Hills, the Rolls-Royce, of real estate agents. His website states "No pressure or BS." And that's exactly what our experience was and is. From the beginning, when Emory helped us buy our first house in 2011, he demonstrated superior intelligence and tactfulness in his recommendations. Unlike so many other realtors, he never spammed us with irrelevant suggestions in the hopes of collecting commission. Emory was also sharp in recognizing very early on that we were extraordinarily picky buyers. As a result, we were better off scouring the market ourselves. He gave us space and time, and focused on stepping in for negotiations once we found desirable targets. He performed that duty beautifully to secure us a price we were thrilled with. Since we met him, he's continued to advise us on any and all matters when we reach out to him. More than once, I've wondered whether he possesses telepathy, as he often anticipates what we need before we even express it. One of the smartest and most capable people I've met, whether real estate is involved or not.

We were recommended by colleagues to look for Emory, and he was absolutely wonderful to work with. We were considering both buying a townhouse/condo or a single family house, and he never pressured us towards buying the higher priced option despite the fact that it would mean a lot more commission for him. Throughout the whole process, he put us at ease by explaining everything and answering all our questions, and always replying to any emails or phone calls promptly. Each Sunday, he would compile a list of the places we were interested in, work out a good route for touring the list of open houses, and take us around to see them all. He would provide insight to how the neighbourhood was, how the place was and how the market/price was. Being a first time home buyer, I was very anxious throughout the escrow process, but Emory was there to help with everything. He was also always punctual whenever we were to meet. If/When we are to buy or sell another place in the area in the future, we would definitely go to Emory again. Highly recommend.

This review is long overdue! My family has known Emory for almost 10 years. Emory was originally referred to me by a friend, as I was looking to find a condo in downtown Los Angeles while attending graduate school. Not only did Emory help us find the perfect condo but he also helped us with purchasing four other properties (from Playa Vista all the way to Santa Clarita) over the last few years. Whether you are purchasing/selling/leasing... Emory is your guy. He is not one to push or pressure - he has a calming presence, regardless of any challenges that may arise during the process. He is knowledgeable, responsive, and reliable. Most importantly, he's honest. We've had brief encounters with other agents in the past and it's just not the same experience. Emory goes above and beyond. We are so grateful to have found an agent who has our best interest at all times. Emory is like family to us - we refer him all the time and we wouldn't want to work with anyone else!
