Westlake Village, Los Angeles
My experience with Jennifer Sommers was not a positive one. One of the first problems was when a woman from the health department said that she was required to have one working bathroom in the condominium I was renting from her family. There were two bathrooms and she would not fix either one of them. The HVAC looked like the filters had never been changed. In the evening, you could stand at the window and watch the rodents, running back-and-forth across the courtyard. I’ve never been exposed to such filth and disrepair as was displayed in the condo at 32130 Watergate Road. It took three cleaning crews to make the place close to acceptable. The sliding shower doors were not installed. They were simply hanging from the upper bar so that they swung in and out of the shower. She wouldn’t pay for any repairs and told me that I had to deal with the 4 inches of water coming in from the ceiling because she had friends coming that weekend. She told me to get my friends and relatives to come over there and help me clean up the water! I wouldn’t wish her on anyone. She thinks she’s above the rest of us and expects people to cater to her spoiled entitled existence. The rubber flaps that cover the drain opening on the kitchen sink were so old and rotted that they didn’t come together in the center, leaving a baseball sized hole that allowed everything to fall through. I decided to fix it because I didn’t like the way it looked, and she wouldn’t take care of it. Apparently, the only way to replace that is to get an entire new garbage disposal. I decided it was time to move instead. Jennifer Sommers accused me of breaking the garbage disposal and giving her cause to withhold my deposit. That was an absolute lie. I have several witnesses, including the professionals that I contacted to take care of neglected items that she wouldn’t cover. For her to turn around and charge me over $400 is unacceptable but sadly a good example of her lack of integrity. I am a disabled woman in my 70s and can’t afford the extra expenses that I incurred because of Jennifer‘s unprofessional dishonest actions.
We cannot say enough great things about Jennifer! As first-time homebuyers, the process felt overwhelming at first, but she made everything so much easier. From day one, Jennifer was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and truly invested in finding the perfect home for us. She walked us through every step, answered all our questions and provided honest advice that we really appreciated. Jennifer went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and confident in our decisions. Thanks to her dedication and expertise, we found a home we absolutely love! If you're looking for a realtor who genuinely cares and works tirelessly to make your dream a reality, we highly recommend Jennifer. We are so grateful for her help and couldn't have done it without her!
Jennifer Sommers represented us in both the sale of our previous home and the purchase of our new home. Each transaction was managed with outstanding professionalism and attention to detail. As a seller, Jen had recommended a solid listing price and marketed our home beautifully. After receiving multiple offers within 24 hours, she guided us through the process and negotiated a sales price and terms that worked for our situation. On the purchase of our new home, we had an exceedingly difficult seller. Many agents had walked away from the property due to the negotiation difficulty. Jennifer did not hesitate to represent our best interest. Her knowledge and professionalism earned the respect of the difficult seller, which I believe contributed to our closing of the deal. The new home and neighborhood have been a perfect fit for our family. My husband and I highly recommend Jennifer without hesitation.
