Jerry Avila was our listing agent, and the experience couldn't have been better. From day one, his market knowledge and commitment to our interests as sellers were obvious. Do not deal with this guy! He is a liar and can’t be trusted!!! He is selling a house that we wanted so we put in an offer. His sellers came back with contingencies we didn’t like. We countered with our offer and they didn’t take it. No big deal. Happens all the time. The next part is where Jerry shows how much of a snake he is. Flash forward about 2 weeks and Jerry called my realtor and said the offer on the house we wanted fell through. If we wanted the house, they would accept our last offer. We said yes!!! Jerry then stalls for about 3 days then tells us he wants a contract signed by us guaranteeing we will by if they cancel the current contract. Now this is when his story starts to change…. He originally told our realtor that the offer fell through. Not that they are still under contract. We said we will resubmit our counter offer and our contingency is they cancel and show proof of canceling the current contract. It was accepted then he ghosted my realtor. The e next Friday my realtor reached out asking for confirmation that the current contract was cancelled. He said it was. My realtor asked for the contract proving it. He said his brokers won’t release it. Well my realtor is also a broker and she said that’s not true. They can release it but as always, Jerry is playing games. My realtor continued to contact him for 4 more days and he wouldn’t get back to my realtor. So we cancelled out back up offer with Jerry. Don’t buy anything from this guy and definitely don’t let him sell anything of yours. He will play constant games with people which ultimately he just lost money for one of his clients because we backed out of this house. We even bought a house $100k more expensive than the one he was selling so we would have went up more but this guy is a joke.

I was so burned out on terrible real estate agents until I met Jerry and his team. He not only did what he said he would but went above and beyond. There were such difficult challenges in my transaction that I even offered him an out but he would not give up. I made more money on my sale than I had hoped for a closed on time. I am most grateful.

Working with Jerry has been an absolute pleasure. He is highly knowledgeable, extremely professional, and genuinely cares about his clients’ needs.
