Saying that Shawn and Jamie were a cosmic gift from the universe might sound like hyperbole, but saying they were such wonderful real estate agents to work with that they *felt* like a cosmic gift from the universe pretty much captures it! I randomly met Shawn at an open house when I was casually starting our search and I feel so lucky I did. Our family had outgrown our current home and so we worked with them to both sell our home and purchase a new one, and they were top notch on both sides of the equation. They were knowledgeable, clear, responsive, and thoughtful advocates for us--they understood what we wanted and were ready to make some bold moves to get it. There are inevitable nerves baked into the process but Shawn and Jamie were calm and confident, while always genuinely friendly and personable. They were available whenever we needed and took care of little details behind the scenes. On the buying side, they helped strategize our offer and provided great recommendations for contractors and professionals in their network and just in getting to know our new neighborhood. On the selling side, they created a gorgeous listing that captured the soul of our sweet little house so that it sold quickly. We got everything we wanted and more in our new home at an amazing price, and got an excellent price for our old house in a short amount of time on the market. We couldn’t have asked for more. We have no plans to move again any time soon but if we did, I wouldn't want to buy or sell with anyone else! Can't recommend highly enough.

Working with Jamie Pearson as a buyer was truly such a positive experience for me personally. We had a great experience with Pearson Cusack, especially with our agent, Shawn. We spent years looking for the right house and worked with a couple of other agents before finding him (or I guess, he sort of found us). The difference was night and day. He was patient, understanding, and really listened to what we wanted, but he was also honest and realistic. He never tried to sell us on something that wasn’t right for us or tell us what we wanted to hear. What really stood out was how hard he worked. Shawn handled so many details and took a ton of stress off our shoulders. He coordinated inspections, helped manage timelines, followed up on things, and was always one step ahead. Other agents we’d worked with seemed to expect us to do a lot of the legwork ourselves, but Shawn truly went above and beyond. When a house came along that felt like a long shot, Shawn was willing to take that shot with us. He believed it was worth pursuing, put in the work, and somehow made it happen. We ended up with a home that is perfect for us. What probably says the most about Shawn is that he didn’t disappear after closing. He still checks in and has been incredibly helpful with recommendations for contractors, vendors, and other local resources. As first-time homeowners, that means the world to us. Because let’s be honest, we have no idea what we're doing! =) Buying a home is so stressful, especially when you’ve been searching for as long as we had, but Shawn made the entire process so much easier. If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, hardworking, honest, and genuinely cares about his clients, Shawn is your guy. Plus, he's just a really cool dude!
