Working with Shirley was a positively awesome experience for us. We met Shirley at an open house and as we were not in a hurry to buy a property, and our outlook for buying was anywhere from 6 to 12 months, we informed Shirley we were just looking around, getting familiar with different San Diego neighborhoods. Shirley patiently kept up with our easy pace and kept sending us info on properties we wanted to just browse. Her bubbly personality and ease of getting along convinced us to let her represent us. From that moment on Shirley and her team worked tirelessly as we browsed through dozens of properties over several months, with her team often arranging house viewings at a moments notice. We were very particular about the type of house we would be willing to purchase and with the tough market conditions at the time we were convinced we would not find anything suitable in 2025. Shirley persistently and patiently took us through all available properties in the areas we were interested in the most, and introduced us to some areas we were not initially considering and that is where we found the house we were looking for. Shirley represented us through the entire purchasing process, negotiating for us, providing all disclosures and explaining what they were, guiding us all the way through closing. We had a really wonderful experience with Shirley! She helped us with acquiring our first home as newlyweds at a much quicker rate than we were anticipating. I was not looking forward to the house-searching process and came into it with a very reserved and cautious attitude, but Shirley made me feel comfortable and open about it because she is just such a positive strong force of nature. She never pushed us in a direction we had hesitations about and she was available night and day to answer our several questions and concerns. She was there every step of the way and patiently assisted us with understanding every aspect of the home buying and escrow process. Something really key about her that stands out from other realtors is that she will fight for you. I feel like she worked really hard to get us a good deal and this sets her apart from other realtors we met who either who didn’t seem like they were trying that hard for us or were just trying to get commission asap. I think Shirley genuine loves helping people find a home and that passion speaks volumes in her work ethic and relentless pursuit of finding the perfect house for you. She makes a point to let us give our thoughts first before she gives us her own honest opinions with years of experience. I found her to be really honest and trustworthy, which is something hard to find these days in every field. In addition to that, even though we bought our house months ago, she still regularly checks in to make sure we are ok and there aren’t issues. She treats you like family and we are so lucky to have found her! When our family grows and we need a larger house, we will look to no one other than Shirley to help us.
