My only dealings with Ms. Afton are second hand but that is not by choice, she simply won't call me back. I don't know if her assistant is phoning it in (but not to Afton obviously) or what. I just know that I was at work and my fiancée told me "you have to come see this place" it was pretty close to my work (MCAS Miramar) so I hopped over to check it out. I was beyond impressed, it was a nice little place off of Collbrook and just everything we were looking for at a decent price, Afton completely undersold the place (a good thing). But that is where the good came to a screeching halt, when my fiancée called to put in an application (there were supposed to be some in the house, there were not) she was excited and so was Ms. Afton. After rifling through some papers it was like my fiancée had just insulted Afton and cut her to the core, her whole mood switched and we were met with "well I already had someone tour this place and I implied they could have it." To which we said "well we'll put in our application too and just hope we get it." (They had not put in an application yet according to what we were told and we even offered a holding deposit to show we were serious) but Afton danced a beautiful ballet around the subject and instead didn't even offer us an application (we even offered to come pick it up directly from her instead of an email). Instead it seems she liked these "gals" (her words) more than us apparently. I called her a few days later to see if I could maybe make some headway because the place was absolutely perfect, but was met with an answering machine and left out to dry. I left a message explaining that we had over 4x the rent in income and would gladly put in an application to see which group was better qualified, I haven't heard back yet and if I hold my breath I'm sure I'd die. In short, disorganized and seemingly dishonest or just plays favorites like parents with their youngest. I'd steer clear and find someone who will call you back. (unless your just a group of "gals" obviously)

These people are extremely professional, dedicated to serving their clients best interest. You can’t do better in your Real Estate endeavors.
