My husband and I have worked with Leigh Ann twice - a few years ago as sellers leaving San Diego and again, recently, when we moved back to the area. She is very knowledgable about San Diego and patiently guided us through a home search that encompassed multiple areas, neighborhoods and home types. We had a limited amount of time to view homes on a weekend visit and she made an efficient plan for us based on our interests and budget. She communicated with us promptly every step of the way and was always available with recommendations for other professionals and services needed to complete the home buying and selling process. When we decided to return to San Diego this year, we immediately thought of Leigh Ann for our real estate needs and I feel that is the true mark of a terrific agent!

I inquired on a listing that Leigh Ann Elledge had on 3031 La Cresta, San Diego, CA 92106 via phone. While on the phone arranging for her to come show the home the call dropped. She claimed she lived in the neighborhood and could meet me there shortly. She did not call me back. I called her a few times with no response. I assumed she was busy. I went to Redfin where the listing was and responded to a time window for an agent to open the house for my viewing. The following day I called Leigh Ann back and told her the house was lovely but required more work than I was up for.. yet a lovely home. Prior to the call dropping Leigh Ann said..”let me tell you if this home is right for you” in a stern tone. I believe she could have used better verbiage. I was doing my due diligence and was reading the listing so I did not appreciate her telling me what I can or can’t look at. I told her I had my eyes on another listing that was going into contract but had no knowledge if I had an opportunity to still participate. I was still deciding on who would be my buyers agent as it was my first day. She offered to call as she said she knew the Agent. She then went on to scold me for having spoken to another agent during my Sunday tours of visiting Open Houses. She raised her voice to my surprise! I told her that since I have not signed a contract it is my choice to work with who I decide. I had just started looking for houses for one day and would not be hasty as to whom I would work with. I definitely am disappointed in how Leigh Ann spoke to me and forgot that I am the client/customer. I do not recommend her until she has some coaching.

Leigh Ann Elledge is in the top 1% of real estate agents we have worked with. She is a consumate professional--extremely knowledgeable, personable, detail-oriented, and responsive. Our mother, who is a widowed senior citizen, had previous less-experienced real estate agents offer to sell her house for a low price due to the condition of the property, but Leigh Ann was very thorough in doing her homework. She researched comparable lot sizes with views, as well as county records, finding out that the large lot is splittable, which significatnly increased the value. Leigh Ann was also very accomodating with our elderly mother's unwillingness to have people contstantly coming over and looking at the house. Because of Leigh Ann's excellent marketing skills, we had mutliple offers, with the perfect buyer who was not only willing to pay top dollar, but to complete all of the needed repairs himself. During the whole process, Leigh Ann was patient and kind, making our mom feel very comfortable. Our mom is now in a beautiful remodeled condo close to my sister and I, so we can stop by for lunch more often, bring her anything she needs, and have more frequent family get-togethers. We also highly recommend Leigh Ann to all of our friends since she is well-connected, from assessing property values, to completing professional inspections, to getting repair estimates, to having work completed in ordert to bring properties up to code. She even negotiated with the seller for our mother's condo, getting us a lower price, and having some minor repairs completed before our tight closing window. Throughout the process of selling our mom's house and purchasing the condo, Leigh Ann was an absolute pleasure to work with, and our mother is excited to start her new life in a safe, lovely neighborhood near her children and grandchildren.
